NO BEFORE-AND-AFTER.
Most of life happens somewhere between who you were and whoever the hell you’re trying to become.
Clearheaded & Committed is a place for that part.
For getting stronger and falling off. For taking care of your head and ending up underwater again. For getting sober, staying sober, drinking less, questioning your relationship with alcohol or drugs, or just knowing something needs to change.
You don’t need a transformation photo. You don’t need a rock-bottom story. You don’t need to have your shit together before you get here.
GET IN ON THE GROUND FLOOR
Clearheaded & Committed isn’t an established movement with thousands of people hiding behind a slick homepage.
It’s small. It’s new. That’s the truth.
It’s being built from the ground up, in public, by someone who’s still in the middle too.
If something here feels familiar, I’d rather you get here early. Join the people helping shape what this becomes instead of showing up after somebody decided what it was supposed to be.
The email list is where we’re starting. New writing, updates, things worth sharing, and eventually more ways for the people here to know and support each other.
No seven-email welcome funnel. Just the stuff worth sending.
THERE’S MORE THAN ONE WAY THROUGH THIS

01
Whatever wouldn’t leave me alone.
Longer thoughts, questionable observations, things I’m learning, things I’m unlearning, and whatever else refuses to stay inside my head. Welcome to the shitshow.

02
Some days are clearer than others.
Drinking less, staying sober, mental health, bad days, better ones, and trying to figure out what helps when your brain refuses to provide an instruction manual.

03
Getting there takes a while.
Workouts, progress, setbacks, experiments, sore muscles, and the ongoing attempt to build a healthier body without turning my entire personality into protein powder.
WHERE THIS IS HEADED
Right now, Clearheaded & Committed is a website, an email list, one person’s story, and the beginning of a community.
I’d like it to become a place where people in the middle can find each other, share what helps, feel a little less alone, and eventually help somebody else through their own version of it.
The long-term goal is to give something back — helping people in this community when we can and supporting mental health and substance-use organizations doing good work.
There’ll probably be merch eventually, because apparently every idea becomes a T-shirt if you leave it unattended long enough. But even that should help move this toward something bigger than a website.
STILL HERE? GOOD.
Neither do I. That’s sort of how we ended up here.
Come for the part that brought you. Stay for whatever helps.
