WORK IN PROGRESS
Tires, trails, and no excuses
Three ways I move. None of them gracefully.
PHYSICAL > EXISTENTIAL
The ways I keep myself moving.
01
Bodyweight & Tire Flips
There’s no dramatic starting line here. I could always do the workout. The goal is seeing what happens when I stop treating exercise like something I’m always starting over. I’m tired of restarting. I’d rather just be tired.
02
Mountain Biking
I like mountain biking for the same reason I like most of this stuff: there’s no pretending you’ve arrived. There’s always another hill, another line you’re nervous to take, and another reason to get back on the bike tomorrow.
03
Running
I’ve hated running for most of my life, but I don’t “currently” despise it, which is already more progress than I expected. Some miles feel good. Some absolutely do not. Both still count. Just trying to keep moving anyway.

THE PART I’M STILL LEARNING
Consistency is harder than the workout.
I know how to work hard. That part isn’t new. What I haven’t figured out is how to keep going when the excitement wears off, life gets busy, or missing one day starts turning into missing ten. That’s the part I’m working on now. Not getting better at starting. Getting better at continuing.

BEHIND THE SETUP
This is what I’m working with.
No gym membership or elaborate setup. There’s a tire, a bike, some running shoes, and enough space to use all three. I’m not trying to build the perfect routine. I’m trying to figure out what I’ll keep doing when the motivation wears off.

I have no idea what this looks like six months from now. Hopefully I feel better, I’ll probably still be complaining about running, and I’ll almost certainly be doing something I previously “swore” I’d never do again. Here are the good weeks, bad ideas, small wins, and lessons I apparently need to learn the hard way. No backing out. This is the middle.
